Here is my card to celebrate!!

I wanted to make a special card for Michelle, so I made my first trifold card.  The card is mostly just one layer with the Ballerinas glues to each panel.
I used Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide inks and with layering and masking created the floor.
For the stage lighting I used masking paper and sponged Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, and Wilted Violet Distress inks I them sprayed water on top and picked it up with a paper towel to get a distressed look.
For the stamping I used Flirty Fuchsia, Party Dress, All the Jazz, Icing on the Cake and Sweet Sixteen inks from Catherine Pooler Designs .
The stamps are all from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and are Tutu, Sassy Smiles, Holly Jolly Christmas, Franklyism's, and Truth Is.
I used was Bristol Smooth Cardstock.

Michelle has also put the WTF 2 stamp set on sale for 23% off for the duration of the hop or until supplies last.

CAS Challenge #12

Welcome Back to the Calling All Sistah's Encouragement Challenge!!

This month's inspiration photo is beautiful and full of spring colors.

For this challenge, we are asked to make an encouragement card for someone who could use a bit of encouragement and use either the photo or the color palette as inspiration.

Here is my card.

I used the Truth Is Stamp set and Truth Blooms Fri-dies. I stamped the flower image twice, colored it in with alcohol markers, die cut the blooms and popped them up with foam tape after sponging the background with Broken China distress oxide ink. I added the sentiment and layered my card onto a piece of apple green cardstock and then onto a white cardbase.

Now it is your turn.
You can enter your card in to the challenge at the

Creative coloring Class from Altenew

I recently took a class by Altenew Academy called Creative coloring. It was not what I expected from the class but titles can be misleading. This class covered basic blending .  My fist card I used copic as I had not recieved my artist marker as of yet and I used a different cover plate die.

For the second project we were to do a no line coloring technique, but when I got the artist markers I forgot and stamped the image full strength. So I just went with it lol

Project 3- This one had a lot more coloring. I fussy cut it out popped it up with foam tape and added extra embellishment.

Overall I liked the class and would reccomend it to any beginner colorist.

Thanks for stopping by..
